There’s never a dull moment in Hastings, whatever time of year you visit.
You’ll find us in the America Ground district and there’s plenty to see and do while you’re there. The RIBA award winning pier is a must, as are the wonderful independent shops selling art, homewares, records, wine, wholefoods, musical instruments. There’s an abundance of indie places to eat and drink for whatever mood you’re in. The True Crime Museum is just around the corner and the world’s largest seller of BMX bikes, Source BMX, has a bike and skateboard park at White Rock.
Elsewhere in Hastings, take a lift up the East Hill or a stroll around the old town. Don’t miss the fabulous exhibitions at the award-winning Jerwood Gallery and the freshest of fish landing from the world’s largest land-launched fishing fleet. There are far too many festivals to mention individually but Jack in the Green and the Seafood & Wine festivals are personal favourites.
